Troy Bynoe

For over sixteen years Troy has provided his services as a composer, producer, engineer and audio mixer to various clients. He has worked independently and under contract. He has managed recording budgets and directed projects from conception to delivery. He has collaborated with acclaimed producers, artists and composers and worked in various recording studio settings.
Troy is as much a musician as he is a technician and producer. His talent and skill enhance his approach to composing, producing, engineering and directing music of any genre and for any medium. Schooled at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and The Harris Institute for the Arts in Toronto, Troy is a multiinstrumentalist, playing piano and guitar as well as his proficiency of sample-based synthesis.
Troy has worked with the biggest record labels - EMI, Sony, BMG, Warner and Universal and has achieved beyond their expectations in creating award winning music projects such as the 2005 Juno Award winning recording Joyful Rebellion (Virgin) for K-os and for which Troy received a Platinum record for sales in excess of 100,000 units in Canada. The album reached No. 7 on the Billboard Top Canadian 100 chart.
